A Chiropractors goal is to realign everything and allow your body to heal itself. Chiropractors will use the word subluxation a lot. A subluxation is a dislocation or misalignment usually regarding the spine.

Chiropractic education includes the same classroom hours as medical school.
While classes such as nutrition, pathology, microbiology, and biochemistry are taught, there's a strong emphasis on anatomy and physiology, spinal biomechanics, and radiology, as well as chiropractic-specific adjusting technique.
To become a doctor of chiropractic you need a four year degree from a chiropractic program with a minimum of 4200 instructional hours to ensure that chiropractors have a license, a certification
least 8 years of schooling and many also hold licenses in physiotherapy.
